bon voyage!

Hi!!

I created this card with our Noah's Ark stamp set....I'm leaving on holiday today and will be gone for two weeks....and this is where my inspiration for this card came from. You know those vintage suitcases that have all those stickers on them, travelled all over the world....all distressed....that's what I was going for with this card.

This is a combo of paper piecing and copics...I paper pieced the boat (using Basic Grey pattern papers and I coloured the animals with copics and then distressed the whole thing using Tim Holtz Distress inks in Vintage Photo and Tea Dye.

I am so glad the weekend is here, my day at work has been filled with a comedy of errors!

Anyway, I have the cutest card to share with you all. Emily has used all but one of the animals from Garden Friends for this fun card. I just love the mix of colours!, so gorgeous. And she got her husband to help - without having to twist his arm :)

I have the cutest card to share with all of you today :) Emily very cleverly took the lion from Noah's Ark and made him into a bear! How does she think of these things. I adore this card and I also really love the knotted twine between each banner.

Hey There

Aga joins us today with a beautiful card. It is sweet, simple and so cute!  This is another example that you don't need to be great at colouring to make fantastic cards. That extended boarder on the side really helps the main panel pop and adds the perfect touch.


Aga's card combines images from Garden Friends with our free digi image (from the side bar).
