Daffodils - SALE!

 Hello!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

It's a beautiful sunny spring day and it made me reach for my Daffodils stamp set.

Then I thought...why have a Daffodils stamp set SALE! This whole week Daffodils will be 15% Off!

 I didn't have a lot of time this morning so I used my water colours to make the background and once it was dry I stamped the daffodils onto it. SIMPLE!

I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.

Hope all is well! (I really do...it's not just how I start my blog...from the heart!)

It's my turn on the JD blog and my very first sunflower at home inspired my card for today. Last night no sunflower...this morning..hello Mr. Sunflower! :)

Ain't he pretty! :)

For this card I used my Autumn Blessings and Cube It stamp sets. I was in a hurry (what's new man!!) so watercolors saved the day again. Just a light wash of blue to make my background, some strips of green for the grass. I stamped and cut out my sunflower and did a very simple and light wash of colour. Easy peasy! And I'm not using any special watercolors...regular grocery store bought watercolors that my kids use.

I adhered the sunflower and top strip of grass with foam dots for dimension.

This week I will (fingers crossed) order some brand new JD stamps! I can't wait to share!

It's Ange's turn on the blog today and I've said it before and I'll say it again....she is AWESOME when it comes to combining different JD stamp sets onto one card!!! I just LOVE this card....everything from the colours, the string, mini staples, the placement of the tags and the gorgeous watercoloring!!!

I want to apologize for the quality of my pictures lately...I have no idea what's going on and don't really have the time to figure it out but I'll eventually figure it out! 

Anyways I created this card using our Butterflies, Pretty Peonies and Roses stamp sets. 

I did some masking with the flowers and leaf (the other two leaves I cut out). I added some colour using watercolours. I then heat embossed the peony with white embossing powder onto yellow cardstock so that this flower stood out and is the 'you' in the sentiment Beautiful you. I adhered the flower and one of the leaves with foam dots for some dimension.

Hope all is well! :)

It's my turn today and I used our Butterflies and Daffodils (for the sentiment) to create this card. I must confess that I had stamped and painted (with watercolors) these butterflies a while back so it didn't take me long to create this card. Whenever I loose my mojo I like to stamp images and colour them and have them ready.

I added a little glitter with glossy accents and I also adhered the butterflies with glossy accents too. I wanted some dimension, as if they were fluttering around so I added the glossy accents to the body of the butterfly leaving the wings free to shape.

This card make me think of my mama...I miss her terribly!

It's my turn on the blog today and I created this adorable (if I do say so myself) card using our Spring stamp set! :) 

I did a little paper piecing (the tummy and ears using my old dictionary), coloured (with Graph'it markers) and cut them out.

I created my background with watercolors...easy peasy! :) And I added a cute mustache to one of the bunnies!

It's my turn on the JD blog today and I created this card using my Butterflies stamp set.

I just stamped this butterfly image and covered the whole card and then went in with watercolors...which I'm loving at the moment...so easy because it doesn't have to be perfect and still looks perfect! :)

This stamp set has a lot of meaning for me...woman in particular are much to hard on themselves....you have to be super woman, your home has too look like a page out of House Beautiful, cooked meals, baked goods, be thin, perfect hair, anti-wrinkle, anti-cellulite ........bla bla bla...well who says?!!! Life is too short...Ageing is a privilege and you really are enough!! :) I do believe you need to take care of yourself, work hard and do your best and that is more than enough. :)

I shared this card on my blog yesterday (sorry the pictures didn't turn out)....again I used watercolors and did some heat embossing...simple, fast and CUTE! :) I used our TEArrific stamp set (which is available in English and Croatian).
