I am having the same problen with blogger and Yestarday a commenter left me a comment telling me how to get around it. If you click in the top left corner "HTML" in lieu of "Compose" (in the box that you write your post)and upload a photo, you can click back to "Compose" and your photo will be in the post.It worked for me:)
